OBS-Monitor

Mit dem OBS-Monitor kann getestet werden, ob ein Client Verbindungsabbrüche zur Datenbank und zum Datenbank-Server hat. Hierfür wird in einem zuvor eingestelltem Intervall ein Ping und eine Verbindung zur Datenbank durchgeführt und dies anschließend in eine Textdatei geschrieben.

Konfiguration

Die OBS_MONITOR.EXE kann vom OBS-FTP Server auf einen Client kopiert werden. Hierzu legt man auf dem Client am Besten das Verzeichnis c:\OBSMONITOR\ an und kopiert die Datei hinein. Beim ersten Starten gibt es noch keine Konfiguration, somit ist der linke Bereich leer. Im rechten Bereich des OBS-Monitor befindet sich die Standard-Konfiguration. Diese kann zu beginn in den linken Bereich kopiert und anschließnd angepasst werden.
